Coversation Pit

Were living with my mom for the moment. Were a little cramped but we make it work. One of the great things about my moms is there are kids next door and across the street. They're all girls, and they're kindergarten and 2nd graders which works out wonderfully for Madison. Shes pretty much outside from the time she gets home and finished her homework until dinner time. They love to gather on my moms front porch....they sit in the chairs around the table....sort of a conversation pit. She and one of the girls were having spelling contests the other day....Mississippi was the word of the hour.

I love that my kids are resilient through everything they have had to go through....they amaze me. They make me want to pull my hair out sometimes...but they amaze me, and all in all (although a bit spoiled...but I've put them in mommy boot camp for that) they're great kids.
since Ive be lacking in blogging world over the past couple of months here's a few pictures to keep you up to date...Ive been lacking in picture taking too. oops.
Mad and friend Grace at friend Georgia's pottery painting party. Ive decided Mads quite the good friend. She gotten 8 birthday invites in the past 2 months. These aren't 'invite your whole class' parties either they're invite 8 friends kind of parties....and Mad has seemed to be included in them all. This makes me happy, because it shows she really is a likable kid and maybe I AM doing things right with her. Either that or shes the really cool kid in school who everyone likes. Ill take that. How could you not love Mad Hamby?
A is on the left. He's so tiny his shorts are bigger than he is...but my dear friends hes growing, and it makes me happy! He's also schedules for another surgery on the 20th of April. Ill fill you in on another blog....but yes, Alex's surgery number rises once again. Hes such a trooper.

I love him playing soccer. Hes the youngest on the team, by a year (we kind of broke the rules and hes playing u-6 when he should be u-4). I'm amazed at how 'not afraid' he is of the big boys and girls. He enjoys it so much, he loves to run just like his sister. She however, loves to sit on the sidelines....maybe one day she'll lace her cleats back up. A mom can dream, until then Ill keep painting her finger and toenails. :)
