double ouch

My kid is clumsy. Seriously. She's all knee's and elbows, and super tall...so I consider he a bit top heavy. And she's ALWAYS hurting herself. Along with her stubby finger we now have a banged up knee to go with it. This is no ordinary banged up knee...she banged up the BACK of her knee. Actually Woody banged up her knee. She ran out in the yard (yes...I have woody on a lead, and he still chases cars even after getting hit) and woody somehow wrapped her up in his lead and tied her up. This was the end result.

Mad also has her fist ever tap/ballet performance tomorrow evening. Now that she cant comfortably bend her knee we will see how that goes. Poor kid.

In other "ouch" news...A and I went back to the doctor today to recheck his progress with his hole in one eardrum and totally retracted other eardrum....bad news. Now we have a hole in each ear drum. His hearing isn't up to par and we will be visiting the ENT soon. His pediatrician relates the sound he hears to a 'really really windy beach in your ears ALL of the time'. Poor kid too. But you would never be able to tell, until you try to talk to him in a room full of more than 5 people.

On a side note he has a new favorite food. "chocolate rice" (long grain and wild rice). He's definitely my good eater (yet he still cant break 30 pounds). He shared a salad with me for lunch! God Bless this child...Mad sticks with the pbj's and mac and cheese.
