Beach

Last year, due to C's work schedule, he sat out "family vacation" and we were lucky enough to see the ocean with some friends. This year, he finally earned some vacation time in his new position and our entire fam (2 adults, 2 kids AND the dog) headed to the beach. We were lucky enough to find a pet friendly condo with the same company we have used for years, and Maddox was more than excited to see the water. We spent hours at the beach with Maddox and his tennis ball.

The care ride down...well that's different story. Unlike most dogs, Maddox HATES the car, so he spent the majority of the 5 hour drive down in M's lap. She didn't seem to mind, however when we got home I'm sure the guys at the car wash hated cleaning the vacuum after I used it, I vacuumed up an entire other dog, in just Maddox hair.

Our trip was fairly short, 4 full days there, but that is just long enough for us when we don't go with friends. Any longer and my kids are at each others throats...there's only so many things you can do in the sand with your sibling. Luckily they made some friends this year (11 year old girl and her 7 year old brother from Cumming) and we met them at the beach every morning. PRAISE!

We miss you already beach...until next year!
