Power-Outtage...

Alex and I spent most of Monday at home, after being sent home from work because we had no power in the preschool. As I drove home I saw 3 trees though houses (mind you I have a 3 minute car ride home)...Praise the Lord we didn't have a tree through ours. I wouldn't know what to do. We were powerless for almost 24 hours, and it made me really appreciate (and also realize how spoiled we ALL are) electricity. Madison's school, although surrounded by a neighborhood with no power, miraculously had electricity...so A and I spent the day in the quiet and played in his room all day....oh and watched Mads portable DVD player (see the spoiled I'm talking about?) Lord help the Hamby's. We love our TV's...and the movie "Bedtime Stories"....oh and Chick-fil-A, because they didnt lose power either.
